Maria Lane (she/her)
FOUNDER
Meet Maria Lane, an actor, singer/songwriter, and producer. Having grown up in Orlando, FL Maria was introduced to theater at a young age, and has been in love with it ever since. She has now spent the past 7 years residing in Brooklyn, NYC. In 2021 she produced “Spring Awakening” at Urban Stages after training in Musical Theatre at The New York Film Academy. Believing in the healing power of storytelling and theater, she aligns with Moon Phase Theatricals, motivated by the heartfelt mission to offer other fellow artists a chance to be seen in the industry.

Annalys Ramirez (she/her)
FOUNDER
Annalys Ramirez, a dynamic Dominican-American multi-hyphenate artist from Brooklyn, New York. Graduating with a degree in Theatre from the City College of New York, Annalys ‘ keen eye to details allowed her to immerse herself in various facets of theatre, shaping her views on creating impactful performances. Her recent credits, include Cinderella u/s (R&H Cinderella), April (Company), Joanne (Rent), Ti Moune (Once On This Island). As one of the founders of Moon Phase Theatricals, Annalys is ready to craft works that capture the essence of our world, bringing forth unique perspectives and celebrating the beauty of diversity on the stage.

Angel Rafael Tavarez (she/they/he)
FOUNDER
Angel Rafael Tavarez Is a New York City based multi-hyphenate artist. From winning international film awards for their performance in the self titled Documentary about their early life, to performing in off Broadway theaters; most recently Collins in RENT at Theatre Row (2022), to stage managing for Broadway legends or Assistant Directing at Roundabout Theatre Company. There isn’t a field of theatre that they haven’t dipped their toes in. They are most excited about providing opportunities for new and groundbreaking performers to re-construct the mold that has our theatre industry in a chokehold. They stand as an inspiration for other artists to continue to reconstruct societal norms and strive to say “NO” to limitations.
